HSHS St. Francis Hospital

HSHS St. Francis Hospital has treated at least three people for injuries sustained while playing the popular cell phone app game, “Pokémon GO.” 

At its educational conference and annual meeting on August 11 in Effingham, the Illinois Rural Health Association presented its 2016 Rural Health Award of Merit to the Illinois Telehealth Network (ITN).  HSHS St. Francis Hospital helped launch ITN, and is one of 23 ITN members honored with this award. 

Skin cancer is the most common form of cancer in the United States, and HSHS St. Francis Hospital wants to ensure that you know the risks and get appropriately screened for skin cancer. 

HSHS St. Francis Hospital has scored in the nation’s top 2 percent in employee engagement compared to last year’s top 10 percent. 

HSHS St. Francis Hospital and the Montgomery County Health Department are hosting a celebration on Saturday, August 6, 2016 to raise awareness about World Breastfeeding Week. The public is invited to attend this family-friendly event! 

Amid the latest “Pokemon Go” craze, HSHS St. Francis Hospital wants to remind those playing the game to play it safely.
